I cant wait to talk to you guys tomorrow after the debate tonight on MSNBC. I hope like Mortal Kombat, Tim Russert or Brian Williams yells "Finish Her" when Sen. Obama starts to lay down the trouncing. I always honestly admit that I was behind Hill, on the fence for Obama initially, but I swear I will vote and volunteer for Ralph Nader if Barack doesn't get the presidential nomination from the DNC. Frankly now, she embarrasses me at this point. I don't know if its the lack of leadership she is exhibiting by falling apart at the seams demeanor wise and morphing into some finger wagging schitzo; not being able during this campaign to get her people to deliver and snap their head and ass together, as my daddy says; the subversive racism and divisive comments that leap from the mouths of her surrogates; her obvious inability to stretch a dollar by wasting money and going broke too early at a time when Americans are clamoring for economic reform or maybe it is her straight up inconsistency that has done more to erode the confidence of those who should be key supporters than any other likely factor you can name. These attributes do not shout experience, they shout trainwreck!

She just screamed "Shame on you" at Obama for focusing too much on her and not just putting his cards on the table regarding his own positions. So why is she spending her TV time and bulk of her speeches talking about what he isn't. PATHETIC!!! The attacks on Michelle Obama's comments, her initiating the flier battle with her own disinformation campaign that was debunked by www.factcheck.org and also the recent fear smear, leaking of a photo of him dressed in local ethnic garb on a visit to Sudan. The picture was sent to various media outlets with a note saying if this was Hillary the picture would be published on every front page of every major publication. I guess they think that anyone would have cared that a very white woman with a very white name like Hillary Rodham Clinton wore some ethnic clothes. If that was the case, they would have to put every overly tanned white tourist on blast who comes to some Caribean island and gets cornrows and blows thru a conch shell. Hillary, please, no one would care. Ask Bo Derek. The truth is that race and religion are still major points of contention in America in 2008 and Sen. Barack Hussein Obama has a name and background that rings bells for the ignorant. Its taboo to mention it but on some level, there are a lot of not just white folks, but non blacks in general who are scared that Obama is gonna get in office and let black people do whatever they want. Maybe he'll bring back slavery and put white people in the cotton field, maybe he will make rich white folk sign over their wealth and lands to poor black people, for kids from poor black neighborhoods and improve conditions for blacks while ignoring other minorities and the rest of society's ills; all of these ideas of course are pure crazy. Barack's campaign manager David Plouffe took the HRC campaign to task on their underhanded attempt to divide voters by fear mongering and playing up the innuendo that Sen. Obama likes to cuddle with terrorists. Insultingly, the charges were dismissed and brushed off as ridiculous by Maggie Williams, HRC's black campaign manager and former white house chief of staff for Hill. Williams came in as a replacement for the latin sister Patti Solis Doyle after that Super Tuesday slaughter when they realized that they snatched up that hispanic vote but might need a bit more melanin on the front line. Thank goodness that I continue to be surprised at how far our country has come as I watch how our very capable Mr. Obama remains in favor on the basis of his presentation of himself not the misrepresentation of the pack of haters nipping at his heels. Everybody gets theirs, Hillary is gonna burn in Hades after her political fall from grace and Maggie, we're gonna revoke your ghetto pass for your role in advancing that Stepinfetchit racist coonery.

But wait, maybe the hades thing was harsh, maybe her zeal is just misinterpreted and they are sizzling her ass on a skewer because she is a strong woman...right? Nah...I don't buy it, at least not in total. See I'm a female emcee, there are less of us SUCCESSFULLY dominating in our industry not just today but proportionally through history, than our sister politico counterparts. Present day, there are in power several female president/prime ministers: Michele Bachelet in Chile, Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf in Liberia, Angela Merkel of Germany, Yulia Tymoshenko ( pictured left; who many call a PMILF; Hillary may wanna have a girl-talk with her) in the Ukraine including others in Phillipines, Mozambiques, Finland, Switzerland, New Zealand & Ireland; and lets not forget Indira Ghandi, Margret Thatcher, Cleopatra and the many powerful women of the European & African monarchies through time. Lets contrast that with my female contemporaries in the music industry which I can name on one hand who have made comparable gains in terms of reputation for being as good as the boys and consistent commercial achievement. I know a little bit about trying to make your way in a male dominated industry, trying to make your voice heard, bring issues to the table when issues aren't the fare of the day. The bottom line and truth is that you cant play the game the same. This is not necessarily a bad thing. Just as a woman cant be a man, a man cant be a woman, and any woman who has full cognition of how to swing her woman thing can find creative ways of playing up her differences in a positive way. You can be as good but you need to appear better, you must be more creative, and you need to be able to illustrate that without doubt when you stand your product next to your competitor. She hasn't fully accomplished any of these things and it isn't the fault of her breasts or uterus. I mean we blame the media cause we don't laugh at her jokes as much as Obama's because frankly they aren't so funny and the delivery needs work; we aren't mesmerized by her charisma because frankly we are still waiting for evidence that she has any. Also people perceive her as strong, that isn't her problem. I think maybe she could try distracting us with her womanhood a little more if you wanna keep it funky. It sounds sexist, but the world IS sexist and kryptonite still ain't got nothing on the "power of the p". I heard Pat Robertson say that women need to accept the fact that when they they speak too harshly or come off too strong they appear shrill, their voices are unpleasant, it kinda reminds a man of his nagging wife. The female news anchor interviewing him wanted to choke Robertson and pretty much told him so. But he is right... Have you tried to listen to a WHOLE Trina album (Sorry Trina, you try, but I'm just saying...)? So how come someone with so much experience and was apparently spending $$$ like no tomorrow to win, didn't have enough sense to get a stylist and someone to coach her with public speaking when she saw that she was losing the "face campaign"on the media front of this nomination war like she was in danger of losing her Senate campaign for similar reasons. I mean even some really great singers retain the expertise of vocal coaches; and who doesn't hang on every word of glamorous woman? Even gay guys worship a woman relentlessly who is well in command of her special power. I am not saying go full on trollop, but a gradual shift to a softer image would not have hurt.

I assume like everything else you can blame the presumptuous Clinton camp for thinking their poop doesn't stink for not even attempting to go there. And I hope no one who is reading this can judge the events of the last several days and think what I am suggesting is below Senator Clinton. I mean with all the downlow dirt that shes been slinging the question at this point certainly is "How low can one go?" You can tell that her recent disdain and newly revealed lack of preparation stem from the fact that she never thought she would lose. I think that in her case like no wman before her she got a free ride and threw it away. So much was expected and she did not have to prove much going in becuase it was ASSUMED BY ALL that she would get the democrats' nod before the race even began. HRC even claims that because she was First Lady that it qualifies her to be President and people are not even questioning it. No black woman could get away with that and no matter what Obama says they tell him his accumulated experience means nothing. Meanwhile he has actually been a legislator longer than she has. Maybe she thought that Edwards would give her a run yet still, she'd stomp him soon enough...but Obama? Its gotta gut her ego that this guy seems to have come out of nowhere and we actually prefer him over a Clinton; but hey, someone's gotta lose. If people don't want you please don't shove yourself down our throat. I hope if she loses these next March 4th races that she will finally show some class and step aside without further dirtying what positives remain attached to her legacy.

Old School Sambo: OJ's Pimp Hand Still Strong

So its still early in the year but we already have competition for the 2008 Sambo Awards. Our friend OJ still scoffs the man and looks his gift horse of freedom in the mouth by beating the crap out of his current shade of vanilla, girlfriend Christine Prody, 32. She collapsed and hit her head as she fell during an errand to the gas station and an ambulance had to come and take her to the hospital. When she gets there, they examine her and find a collection of injuries that cannot be attributed to the accident that brought her there. Its likely she had some bruises in various stages of healing. The doctors say these injuries are consistent with assault NOT a fall.

OJ, OJ, OJ....shaking my head and wagging my finger...

Of course Juice denies putting a squeeze on Prody. But what else is new, OJ hasn't fessed to jack bone since his last touch down. Prody hasn't made a statement but the police are investigating it. I kinda feel that if I was a lawyer and I saw OJ coming I'd switch of the lights and close the shades. BUT...on the flip side, if you are a lawyer and you see OJ coming, you probably see dollar signs. Afterall, he is likely to keep you very busy. The question is, how does he pay for it. We know he was a little broke after the criminal trial; the civil trial took everything else even his Thiesman trophy which as apart of one of his latest train wrecks he just tried to steal back, got caught on video tape doing it while also giving an old white man a heart attack. Even if he continues to beat the charges in the present, his time is coming for sure because he is clearly suffering from broken manhood and ideals. I think its also clear that he cant go back. He is now the villain and has accepted himself as such and people like that wont stop until they hit a brick wall. The wall will either be sudden tragic death or a lengthy jail term. He is definitely doing all he can to get himself in a permanent pair of county issued bracelets.

Police have been called to break up loud fights between the couple five times in the past seven years.
Prody was ejected from a hotel near Miami International Airport in May 2000 for kicking and slapping Simpson.
She shoved him again on July 4, 2005, and then slapped one of his friends, according to various police reports.

Well, OJ, we see you. That is why us black folks see no better candidate to dominate the Sambos. The competition is stiff and it is an election year so the black republicans will be at the top of their Sambo game. Crossing my fingers for you man, maybe you can pull off a win and show em your still a champ...sort of.

This Just In: Celebrities aren't people??!!

According to the nose thumbing, know-it-all, walking disaster that is Karl Rove, Celebrities are not people. At an event at George Washington University where rock star Sheryl Crow and Laurie David, wife Of "Seinfeld" and "Curb your Enthusiasm" svengali Larry David were speaking on Global Warming, Karl Rove took another opportunity to draw a line in the sand. Crow and David made an attempt to have an intelligent discussion with Rove who chose his usual combative position and bristled when they asked him to reconsider his stance on global warming given all of the scientific evidence that we have a serious problem developing. Mr. Rove's excuse for non action is that the US has done enough by completing the research and that we shouldn't have to do anything because China isn't doing anything. Wow, now we are taking cues on global policies from China? Again, WOW!!!

Well he got nasty with Sheryl Crow and she tried to remind him that he was a public official and that he should not speak to taxpayers who pay his salary in so rude a manner. Well Mr. Rove said "I don't work for you, I work for the American people". Now that's classy. That guy Karl Rove is a hell of a guy! The same guy let me remind you, who in a petty payback move, put a female CIA agent's life in jeopardy, while likely stalling her career and endangered our national security by making her identity public to media outlets while she was working undercover to get weapons and WMD out of the hands of terrorists. Hey, I thought you republican guys main schtick was "keeping the country safe from evildooers". In his defense, if you have ever seen his pic, you must excuse him, it is obvious that he is tightly bound from not having the tang since the tang had him. If anyone ever needed a BJ in the white house it's Karl "the Snarl". Well, I am just going to enjoy this time before the release of my project and I blow up like scud. Because if I do well, according to Karl Rove, I may have my rights as a citizen of this country taken away. In the meantime, let's hope there is a job opening up soon in China that is in alignment with Mr. Rove's dark talents and shady track record.

Does Hillary C. even believe her own self?

In this slow newsweek, we are forced to listen to Senator Hillary Clinton's campaign waste our time with news that Sen Barack Obama is a word stealing, inspiration rustling thief. Howard Wolfson, her camp's communications director is crying all over the media to the point that he actually organized a conference call to news media (are u serious????!!!!!????) to announce that Obama is plagiarist. Hillary donors: this guy is getting paid with your money- think about that. This plays to the exact notion of change the Obama has been touting. Isnt this more of the same, swiftboating tactics that we've seen in the past and make us wanna toss our political cookies? Distracting us from the issue with sandbox he said, she said, seems a little hack. Can you not muster up the same amount of energy to find something new and inspirational to tell us about Hillary instead making up negative Obama stories. If he was better at employing smear tactics, I might question whether this guy must be a closet Republican. Hillary C. campaign's attacks just prove the old adage, "It takes one to know one". I feel that these little cheap shots make her look small and self defeating. Everyone keeps saying that she is losing and maybe she doesn't believe it but all her talking heads certainly seem to be behaving as if they believe they are on a sinking ship and they have begun bailing water like crazy!

The response of many news anchors and political commentators are echoing the first thought that came to mind once I had a full grasp of the facts...WHO CARES!!!! Obama borrowed lines from a colleague, who wrote a statement after the fact saying that he told Obama he should use them and likely had those lines written for him anyhow by some 3rd party speech writer(s). You know, right now I am so disappointed, I feel like that parent who is standing over their kid with a belt saying "This is gonna hurt me more than it hurts you", right before they tear you a new crap hole. After reports of her campaign's financial setbacks, I thought the idea was to find creative ways to get more press on Hillary, so why is that Wolfson is on TV? What is he running for? And why are you wasting TV time talking about Obama when you DO get the airtime? Why is Bill blowing a gasket every 3.5 days? Hillary where the hell are you? Why is there no diversity in the images of you with which we are presented? Forget pacing back in forth with a mic with a nice haircut and smartly coordinated suit, I wanna see pics of Hillary with Girl Scouts, visiting women's shelters and high schools for pregnant girls. I mean come on, Obama doesn't OWN hope, he is just reminding us that it exists. Maybe Hillary didn't get the memo or maybe Bill or Wolfson just tore it up before it reached her desk. Did she forget that she is extrordinary in her own right?

I have been less than secretive about my support for Obama but I respect Hillary and I was close to voting for her in the primary. I like many self recognizing Democrats and black folk, have got love for the Clintons. I practically hissed and spit at my TV when they attempted to impeach Bill for something that in my and many American's view was he and Hill's business. I thought that they were skewered in a public forum by opposition powers and were the recipients of some major low blows. I admit to chuckling and nodding in fond affirmation with Toni Morrison when she called Bill C. our first black president. I laughed like hell when Chris Rock and tons of other black comedians made jokes essentially co-signing that sentiment. Still the truth of the matter is that he is not a black man, and he sure reminded us of that in South Carolina. The love is still there but now when I look at him, all white-haired a and little pudgy I hardly recognize "my Bill" that I faithfully voted for twice and whom wholeheartedly earned my support to the end.

Its pretty sad to see but my commentary is not all doom and gloom. I have recommendation for Hillary. She should take a cue from rap music history. Emcees are always battling and competing for supremacy, its built into the culture similar to as it is in politics. Think MC Shan and KRS-1. KRS pretty much monkey wrenched Shan's claims to the throne with "The Bridge is Over". I was watching Shan and KRS speak on it recently and they both agreed, looking back if Shan had never even paid it any mind, never addressed it, KRS-1 the legend as we know him would not exist. In Sen. Hill's political universe she is the "perceived" champ and if I were her I would find a classy way to to answer every question, "Obama who?" Why give him any gas? I mean does she realize that she is our first serious contender for a female president in America? It's a freaking huge deal! Will someone please get Hillary on the phone and tell her that.
